Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2009-09-14 9:47 AM Fall Garden Yesterday I started the transition from my spring/summer vegetable garden to my fall/winter vegetable garden. Out went the languishing zucchini plants, the dead tomato plants. In went the red cabbage, the broccoli, and the romaine lettuce.
In, also, went a couple more patio tomato plants. I have the best luck with those and really, our climate can handle year-round tomatoes. Most of the time. I also have a couple volunteer tomato plants from spring's grape tomato, so I'm happy. That, to me, means the plants are where they're supposed to be. I finally got the star jasmine planted in three big pots on the outside of the veggie garden. I've been meaning to do that for a couple years, so - whew. Cross that off the list. I bought a pack of strawberry plants (yes, I know, wrong season - but why are they selling them?) and will find a good place on the hill to plant those. Once I get the last tomato bed dug up, I'm thinking - maybe I'll plant potatoes and onions. I've got lots of onion sets - it's not a bad idea. And I have the touch where it comes to potatoes. We'll see. Now all I need is that job to come through - that'll guarantee the garden will die due to my lack of time. I guess I win either way, huh?
