It's weird weather we've been having. First cold and rain, then 95 degrees, then cooler and misty, now the winds. But they're cold winds. All this in one week is strange, even for So Cal.

Hubby is feeling better, but his doc wants him to see a surgeon so he's bummed. With our dietary changes, I've lost two pounds in a week. I think hubby's dropped closer to 10, what with being so ill early last week.

The job is weird. I'm in limbo - yesterday I filed all day - because the boss only comes in once a week and that won't be until tomorrow. I need to dig into a property and start flailing about like everyone else - it's the only way I'll learn.

But hey - regular hours. Can't hate that. And I'm staying on at the store - Friday nights and weekend shifts. We'll see how that goes for a few months. It's the only way I know to beef up my savings account.

On an interesting front, my writing brain is more focused when I sit down to write. Go, me!
