Christine's New Chapter

A dear friend's 50th is coming up and her hubby is throwing a surprise party for her after her birthday. Unfortunately, he's throwing it on one of the huge holiday travel weekends...and they live too far for me to drive.

I was all set to go. Primed. Had my credit card out and everything as I looked for flights.

Funnily enough, I had a hard time even FINDING flights. And when I did, it cost almost a thousand percent higher than the last time I paid for a ticket there, and the cost jump has to be due to the holiday. And that sucks.

Too rich for this girl's blood, unfortunately. So I'll have to surprise her another time. Maybe I'll hop out one weekend in January...

The sun is going down. Almost time to run out and pick up some pizza for dinner tonight and slip in my Dracula DVD while we wait for kiddies who want candy...

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
