Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2010-01-27 8:20 PM Update on the Dad front So. Dad couldn't come home yesterday - his hemoglobin was low, he was a bit dizzy frequently, and he had moments of un-clarity, if that makes sense. He always knew who he was, when his birthday was, who was president, etcetera - but he'd get fuzzy about surgery details.
I talked to Mugsy his caregiver who lives with him, and she said that his right leg, which used to bow outwards and caused him so much pain he'd hunch a little when he'd take a step, was now straight and tall, and he gained at least an inch in height. He walked all around the med surg floor yesterday, in a lather to get home, but alas - he was in the slammer for one more night. I spoke with him tonight and he's at home, safe and sound. He actually was crawling around on the floor - ON THE FLOOR, a mere four days after knee surgery - looking for the TV remote when I called. He's doing fine. The interesting thing that he said was that the ghosts didn't follow him home. That he'd never believed in ghosts before, but he saw them and now didn't know what to believe. And then he was off and running on another topic. I think it was probably the morphine talking. Still. Pretty interesting, no? Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
