It's been cold all day. Tonight it finally started to rain - will probably rain tomorrow as well.

I've got strawberries and zucchini and tomatoes and cukes to put into the ground. The rain will make it easier to weed the beds.

And the citrus is getting a nice soaking!

Didn't feel the earthquake that hit Baja this afternoon. I guess we were all too busy going about our day to notice. But friends of mine further north (and closer to the ocean) felt it. A friend of ours, visiting San Diego, actually called us, fearing that it was an L.A. quake, and was quite relieved that it wasn't.

But my heart goes out to the folks of Baja. And I wonder when L.A. will get hit next.

Had a good Easter. Ate the big meal around 3ish, went to a neighbor's for cake and coffee - folks my son knows but we really don't. Had a wonderful time there.

Tonight, a fire in the outdoor fireplace and hubby playing guitar, then in to get warmer and watch Life on Discovery - if you haven't been watching, you've missed out. What a wonderful series.

Yesterday put in my resume for another job about half an hour away - retail. They want "high fashion" - and in their parlance, that means wear all black. I guess I'll invest in some really outstanding lipstick and do a heavy eye makeup. Maybe that'll read as "high fashion" - if I get the interview, that is!
