June kicked off yesterday, appropriately, with the typical early-mid-late summer marine layer that we call June Gloom. Ahhh...love it! Cool mornings, warm to hot afternoons. The only thing better is when June Gloom disintegrates into a misty, foggy day.

The garden is growing - lots of hard green tomatoes, and the zucchini plants are getting big. I haven't had much time out there this past couple of weeks, I've been working at the store a lot (which makes my wallet very happy), but the basics are there, along with my herbs and the sunflowers.

Still in waiting mode as far as the agents go. Have received one pass. Need to start writing the next book.

Off to work early today - a straight 8-5 workday. Can't wait for tomorrow when I've got my first day off in a week...
