Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2010-06-23 7:11 AM Lots It's been a busy few days. On Friday, I went to see the production of TWELFTH NIGHT that my husband is in. He's playing Feste, a great part for him and one he's always wanted to play. The play was well-served, a solid production which isn't bad for a small theater that seats 65.
Saturday felt like stolen time - I didn't have to work, didn't have to go anywhere except to pick up the younger son after an all-day Magic Mountain adventure. Hubby and I had breakfast out and just chilled together. Sunday was similar, except we went to see the production of USS PINAFORE, a Star Trek tweaking of the Gilbert and Sullivan classic playing at the Crown City Theatre Company in North Hollywood. Excellent. Really a terrific adaptation that I hope makes them all money. Monday, I was off early to San Diego to see my Dad, having put off the trip twice earlier in the week. The city was beautiful as usual, Dad is doing well, and his garden is fantastic. I came home laden with oranges and lemons, garlic and onions and squash and cucumbers. The tomatoes aren't quite ready yet, or I'd have had a bushel of those, too. Yesterday I started a new project - sigh. A play. A two-person play. I don't know why I do these things. But at 15,000 words, I'm hoping I can finish the first draft in a week and then get to the zombie book. Finish that off (first draft) in six weeks, then get back to the sequel to the YA book currently in agents' hands. Finish THAT one off, and then start the rewrites... It's good to be busy, yes?
