Christine's New Chapter

We spent this last day of June at Free Zuma. The fog bank was already in when we got there at four, but we had our sweats and didn't care.

Hubby and I took a long walk along the surf and, to our dismay, for the first time in our memory there were tar blobs in the sand. We got tar on our feet from the oil in the ocean.

Logically, I know it can't be the oil from BP's tremendous failed well. But I can't help thinking everything is connected.

On the bright side, it felt like we were back in Cambria (except for the oil) and the water-drenched air was fantastic. We spent three lovely hours there, until the chill penetrated our sweats and we headed back home, where it was 14 degrees warmer.

Veggie souffle type casserole in the oven (I LOVE summer); dinner at 9:15p. Yes, we eat late. As my kids put it to their friends, "we eat like the Europeans do" - except without having the luxury of being in Europe.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
