Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2010-07-30 9:40 AM Hollywood Bowl Wednesday evening went by in a whirlwind. Hubby got very-last-minute free tickets to see Count Basie's Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl - so in a flurry we decided to go.
Finding a shuttle bus near by made the whole thing so much easier - not having to worry about parking was idyllic! The evening was magical. Cool, with hot big band licks and amazing soloists. I packed a picnic and some wine and we really had a good time. Though next time I'll bring a blanket - I was fine most of the time, but when I got home had to wear jammie pants and socks to bed along with a thick long-sleeved tee shirt. Not my normal summer bedtime attire, lol. That I slept all through the night without removing socks or jammie pants told me how chilled I had gotten. Bizarre. Today I head off to the docs - I'm having balance problems. I mean, I've ALWAYS careened around corners and walked into walls - been doing that since I was a dancer and 17 years old - but now there's dizziness and a decided lack of hearing in one ear. Balance is off. Sheesh. I turn 50 and start falling apart. Must remember to do yoga today. And tonight, will gather with my girlfriends to see hubby's show, Twelfth Night. They close tomorrow, finally. Seems like he's been performing all year. Oh wait - he has! Now it's time for him to get a gig that actually pays him, so he can get out of that psycho-ward that is his job. Really, the things rich people do when they're in business - they aren't like you and me, these sixth generation extremely wealthy folks. They have no real sense of reality - if that makes sense. Anyway. Fun and not-so-fun day ahead! But first, some writing. Time to stop procrastinating. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
