I am tired of feeling fragile, of having to put on a tough, smiling front so my family doesn't worry. I slept four hours this afternoon after I got home from work. I work, work out, sleep like the dead, and never seem rested or "right".

The world still wobbles and interferes with the way I want to live. I try real hard not to let it get in the way, but some days are impossible.

Yesterday was a good day. Today, not so good. Working so much, and such odd hours, are adding to the off-feeling I'm dealing with. Next week (so far away!) I'll be able to have a somewhat normal schedule, and writing will become a priority again.

Until then I shall wade through the dizziness and the blind and deafness and keep my chin up. (Blind as in needing my damn glasses all the time now.)

Younger son starts school next week, and is busy making plans for the rest of this week's freedom. Older son started a heavy load at college this week. Hubby just needs to win the lottery.

And so it goes. Pity party officially over; back to work.
