Christine's New Chapter

Okay. I will say it wasn't my fault to begin with. Where I erred was in not double checking the booking email when I got it that same afternoon.

Let me step back. I am NOT leaving for Snowmass tomorrow morning at sparrowfart. Instead, I'm leaving on October 6th and returning October 13th. Huh?

I swear I was not that far off when I booked. I SWEAR it was the airlines' software at fault. But, since I didn't DOUBLE CHECK the RESERVATION when I received it that same day, it falls to me to take the poison pill.

Except I didn't. Okay, and I did.

When I cried, and told the booking agent the dates were wrong and I needed to go on September 30th and return on the 5th October, he said no problem. That would be an extra $400 please. (Not counting the $150 change ticket fee!)

Gulp.

No way Jose!!!

So after much self-berating and lots of crying, I accepted the inevitable - that my trip would be delayed by a week. Which sucks in so many different ways I can't begin to explain it to you.

On the good side,I can take the kinder to their dentist appointments, and when I get home from the trip, the appointment with the neurosurgeon is only two days away...!!

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
