Christine's New Chapter

Okay. So, my surgeon, Mr. Chief of Neurology on the West Coast, looks like the guy who CURRENTLY plays opposite Sandra Oh in Grey's Anatomy. My apologies to the actor, as I do not know his name.

But. Seriously.

I met him today after a gawdawful wait, which occasions because he sees "clinic" patients...which I gather aren't always those who need surgery, but I could be wrong.

At any rate.

Currently, the UNofficial surgery date is December 16th. Which gives me time to finish the novel before I go in, which is a Good Thing. But one surgeon is out of town on vacation, and the other surgeon's booking agent (so to speak) is now gone until Wednesday. Sheesh. She gets a life?!!

Anyway. Not whining here - actually after several miles of reflection, I think December 16 is perfect. Not only time to write - but time to work the day job and time to get ready for Christmas.

As soon as the date IS official, then I have to get a complete physical, donate blood in case they need to give me some, and get a new MRI. But all that has to be done within the 30 day window prior to surgery.

So, aside from writing like mad and doing my best to impress my new boss at the day job AND impress my new boss at the Career, I've got to wait before I can do anything constructive towards surgery.

Which...in retrospect....sounds kind of relaxing, lol...

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
