So the Big Surgeon Man's office did, in fact, do what I'd asked them to - they did the paperwork and sent it off to Disability. I got the papers in the mail today - and thank GOODNESS they're going all the way back to September 2009. Which means ALL my full time day job from 2009 - 2010 salary is in there. I'll be getting just slightly less than what I was getting on unemployment last year, so that's a huge relief. Especially since I probably won't be cleared to go back to work any time soon.

Hubby still doesn't know about his job. He got his paycheck today since the office is closed tomorrow, and deposited it before 5pm. No one told him not to show up on Monday, so he'll be there. It's bizarre, but he's fairly pleased as he's been wanting to leave for awhile now. He can more truly feel it's day to day and not feel as stuck.

Tomorrow we'll be going down to see my Dad. He's got computer issues so we'll go, take care of them, have lunch together, then on the way home we'll drop by Ocean Beach and do some fun sightseeing. My guess is we'll be home by 7pm at the latest. We want to be back well before any New Year's Eve partying will be done, making the roads even more hazardous than usual.

On another note: I finally took a bath tonight (prohibited from it earlier), and I found tape marks. On both my feet. BOTH my feet. WTF??? I am reasonably certain at this point that all tape marks from two weeks ago are now gone. All hardware is gone, all stitches are gone. Nothing foreign is left on my body from the surgery.

I am me again, only better. *g*
