Christine's New Chapter

How many pairs of pinking shears does a granddaughter need? Apparently 5 pairs. As I was going through the four sewing boxes I have, I found two pairs with my Grandma Hazel's name on them (in her handwriting!), two pairs still in boxes from Grandma Beulah Archer (hubby's grandma), and one pair that I think hubby bought back when we were dressing sets for plays.

Five pairs of pinking shears. I consider myself a very blessed granddaughter, indeed! Grandma Hazel passed away in February of 1991, just a couple of weeks after coming to visit us in Van Nuys. She came to see her latest great grandchild, my son named after her son.

Grandma Beulah died in June of that same year. She had a stroke, rallied, and lived to see her third great-grandson crawl along her hospital bed. She died a couple weeks after our visit.

I miss you, Grandma H and Grandma B! Hope you're having a great time in Heaven together. Hugs!

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
