Christine's New Chapter

My dad is 82. His caregiver is younger than me, but in her 40's. I am now 99% sure she is back on drugs and has been for over a year.

He considers her a daughter. I don't know how to wean him away from her - it will just break his heart to know she's been stealing from him because I'm pretty sure she has been. I mean, since when do two people have $300 weekly grocery bills?

My brother goes down there tomorrow to talk to our dad. The caregiver is getting paranoid (she sleeps with a butcher knife and a shovel!). I may have to go live there for a few months...I haven't mentioned this to hubby, but when I do I know he'll be both supportive and absolutely hate the idea.

My heart is breaking.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
