2009-09-29 6:28 AM Can I sleep somemore? Oh why do we have to get up to go to work? Doesn't the universe realize that we need plenty of sleep? That we need to have plenty of tv time-real good shows on, that we need time to take care of SO, and ourselves and do fun stuff. That work should be only 4 hours a day not 8. Can you tell a theme here? i am sleepy. I can't say tired as in from over exertion, but sleepy as in not enough hours from 11 to 4:45. Really meant to start for bed at 10, but SO wanted to play his game for half an hour which extended to an hour. Then i had to wrap his legs. Tomorrow morning he can sleep late since he will be working from home. Not fair!!!
My manager is still trying to get me the "developmental detail" that I was denied. Neither my husband nor I can see how it will work, but according to some of my co-workers, this manager is known for pulling rabbits out of his hat, we will see what happens. I did manage to work on a scarf yesterday, that I started Sunday night. I am almost done with it. It is pretty, I can see doing this pattern for a blanket. It is in the Special Issue Crochet Today display until 1/5/10, pattern name is 'Cozy Combo'. This issue is one where they have compiled patterns from different issues for gifts. I didn't think that I would like the scarf since you start with chain 202. You work the pattern on one side then work on the other side of the chain. I am not using the same yarn (of course) I am using a baby sport yarn in baby green. but it is working nice and soft. I am almost done the scarf-I won't do the fringe. I will make the hat to match. Hopefully a teenager will like the set. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
