2009-11-02 7:47 AM Monday, Monday Second week at this new place. Got the hang of traveling here. Found out what time the Starbucks at the middle bus stop opens, have to wait 10 mins there, might as well make good use of it. good hot chocolate-can't have coffee-heart doesn't like it. will start taking portable mug easier to carry than their cups!
Very dull, quiet weekend. sat on couch nursing headache that wouldn't go away, moping at the very gray skies that would leak periodically. Not a very hard rain, just the gray sky with no sun. We have not had sun it 2 weeks. I was crying for sunlight. It finally came out for 20 minutes yesterday. SO spent time on couch with me yesterday. We have been watching the series "As Time Goes By". It is a British sitcom-though I am not sure sitcom is the right genre. It is about a couple that got separated by the Korean war and meet up 38 years later. And they pick up the strings of their romance again. Sometimes silly, it makes us laugh. And sometimes, just cuddling on the couch wasting a Sunday away watching and laughing is needed in a marriage. So that was my very boring weekend. SO is home "sick" today. He is suppose to catch up on the chores that didn't get done. We'll see what happens. Putting the clocks back resets my clock too. I am well rested even though I got to sleep at the normal late time. My body reacts better to waking up and leaving the house in the light than the dark. Even though I know that it will be dark going home, that seems easier to take some how. It is suppose to be dark at night, not in the morning. At least the sun came out. Now if it will just stop raining for a week or so-may be we will actually make it to walmart next weekend! Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
