Mood: Friday is here Read/Post Comments (3) |
2010-01-29 6:47 AM We got it! We did get the bed. It is high-compared to the air mattress-we are using the metal frame we had. I have to lift up a bit to get on, but it is so much easier to get out of!! I remember laying on my side to go to sleep last night, but apparently I slept on my back most of the night and snored. Oops, poor hubby, I guess I will need to get the sleep test that the neurologist wants me to get. She believes that the poor sleep quality may be causing my migraines-not to mention lack of oxygen-but agreed to wait a bit until I can afford to take time from work to schedule. I like taking it on a Friday if possible or at least allow me to take the next day off, because of the junk that they put on your hair when they attach the electrodes-yes I have had one before and had a machine but the type of machine cause a different type of headache and the insurance wouldn't let me change it. I explained this to the doctor and she said that she'd work around this.
Did some crocheting on the baby afghan, it is going slow-using the baby sport weight makes it take a lot longer, but it is turning out nice. I can't wait to start the next one. I am always like that, I like trying out new patterns, learning a new way of combining stitches and yarns. A friend-Pat, one of the crochet group came over. She has lost lots of weight and had some decent clothes that she didn't just want to give away. I am glad-I can use some different items in my wardrobe. There were a few items that I am keeping. The rest I am putting in the church "pass on" pile. I will be adding a few of my own items that I don't wear-they are the right size, but they just don't fit right.
