long weekend

It is going to be a very long weekend.

Because as of right now I am not getting paid for last week, hubby is working overtime to make up funds or else we would be royally messed up. He will be working 4 hours tonight and 6 tomorrow-all from home. (part of me says yuck because it does limit what I can do noise wise-concentration needed on his part for his job.)But he does not want me to do the laundry since I am still showing signs of discomfort.

I found out what his problem was yesterday-something really stupid. I have to be upfront with him when I realize that I am having a problem doing something and not get upset with him if he relizes it before I am ready to acknowledge it. That's what happened walking to the new restaurant for breakfast yesgterday morning. I know you all must be tired of the play by play, but me writing it down reinforces what I need to correct in my relationship. Enough for now.

Today promises to be quiet. Somehow I will be a little productive, but probably not much. No one is here, most businesses will close early. Life should be smooth.

But I did learn one thing-do not use the permanent delete feature with the time sheets!!! They are sent to me electronically and I get duplicates from employees when they change there time. Wednesday afternoon I was trying to permanently delete duplicate time sheet and I hit it twice thinking that the action didn't take. My whole folder with ALL the time sheets saved in it was permanently deleted. YEOW!!!!!! I had to let upper management know. This is first time in 3 years I have had a major problem with time sheets. But why on a holiday weekend when people are leaving early? Anyway, everything got resolved, but I hate missteps like that.

Oh well, as my division chief said, "Lesson Learned". She ended up pretty cool about the whole thing.
