2010-08-09 1:58 PM Its been a bit Sorry it has been a bit-had another bout of whatever my body has decided it had. I am tired of it, but now I think that it is gone! For the first time in 2 months I don't have any aches or pains in my midsection!!!! I can move!!! So it is gone!!!
I expected to come to work on Wednesday 8/4-on Tuesday night I wrote in my original story-I figured out something and it is working out a bit. It took awhile since hubby put on a movie that was intrusive, but once my minde got into my story-well he left the room and went to bed and I didn't even hear him!!! But I got the idea onto 'paper'. Found out Friday that me staying home sick when hubby is working from home interferes with his 'alone' time. He always said he didn't need any alone time. Come to find out, he does, but not the same way I do. His working from home, is enough for him. He puts a movie in and goes into his own little world that way. Friday it came out that it was too much me being home sick so much.Like I had a choice. Oh well, now I know-but it sure was funny that he called in sick on Wednesday too! I worked a little bit on the afghan-Sweetie doesn't like it when I crochet it-I have my yarn in a basket and have to put the basket on the couch next to me. She likes to lie there. (or is it lay there-never could keep those two straight). Anyway, she gave me dirty looks alot. I got a good 6 rows done-I think the graph paper came in, since there was a note on our mailbox this morning showing that we have a package. Hopefully it is the graph paper hubby ordered for me. I need to graph out the rest of the tree design to make sure I get the branches right. It will be beautiful when done. DGD checked out Eragon from the library last week, she finished it this morning-she sent us a text message at 8 est, saying it is done. This is after doing a river float and going to 6flags last week. She reads alot. She also starts 5th grade next week. I am glad her mom doesn't keep her to the kiddie books in the library. She will probably finish the 3 'chapter' books we sent her-they are suppose to be for her age.. but way below her reading level. Good mind candy to give her a little break. Do you think that "Eldest" will be too much for her to read? Thoughts anyone? Just because she can read it doesn't mean she should, though she has read all of Harry Potter and all of the Twilight series too. (with mom's approval) Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
