2011-02-23 8:08 AM Defused! Ok, I am now watching my husband more carefully. He will take an innocent sentence and twist it to mean something altogether different. I caught it early last night and corrected it nicely. He took a "lets talk about it tomorrow night at dinner" to mean "I don't want you coming on Tuesdays." I had just realized that the knitting class that I paid for starts next Tuesday, and I go to a 'free knit' meeting on Wednesdays. We have been eating out on Wednesdays and then DH finds someplace (usually Dunkin Donuts) to sit and read a book until about 8. Well, I think that doing that 2nights back to back will be 1-expensive and 2-redundant. Convincing him of the second point will be interesting. He already took a stand of "I won't go on either night-You can go by yourself!" I need these nights-I get to socialize and breath. This is what I do for me. When I go, I am able to face the rest of the week easier. He cannot get into the store since it is not wheelchair accessible. (historical building in DC.-cannot modify outside) I don't want to eat out that much.
I am also finding out that he is sabeutaging my diet-chocolate is appearing in my house and I am not the one buying it!! And it is always for me. 9 hersey's kisses is one serving. (dark kisses) But then he also bought a bag of milk chocolate treasures. Chocolate is my downfall. (Ice cream too-but we don't have that much room in our small freezer). I am going to have to be very careful, I think that his insecurities are coming to the forefront. Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
