It would help if...

It would help if I would remember to bring the book with me to read. Then I could really write about it, right? Or at least I could have read one piece last night-nope didn't do that either. Instead, DH & I finished cleaning up the apartment, ate, watched some MASH,(love that series), talked, then it was time for bed. Oh yeah, we did watch the season finale of Chuck, too.

But I do have an anusual activity to report from this morning. I was heading toward the apartment building exit, a racoon ran in front of the door. I saw it clear as day-perfect profile. It was a good sized one.

Today I go to a new crochet group here at work. We will see how it works out. If nothing else, it will be a networking possibility. DH isn't the happiest since it means we will not be eating lunch together. But tough.

I will be working on a project that I found in a bag while we were cleaning-a blue thread type yarn shawl-very light weight. The magazine with the pattern was in the bag and the hook was in a box. It was the only 'free' hook! I worked on the shawl a little yesterday at lunch. It is a simple enough pattern. I don't know if I will have enough of the thread since it was a give away that someone gave the church and it was only two balls, but it will make a light throw or scarf at least!

while cleaning on Sunday, I found all my pins. Yesterday I went to put one on and found out that the one color I wanted, I didn't have any to match-blue! The one blue one I had was a dragonfly and the back was broke. I ended up with a crystal cat with moving tail, but that wasn't what I wanted!!

Well, that's it.
