TGIF and other things!

It is Friday!

And for the first time in a long time I can actually say I feel great! No aches, no pains, no headaches!! The migraine med change is working! Even the slight tummy upset I had after lunch yesterday passed quickly. I do not know if I can accurately express how good this feels.

And then to to top it off, I got a credit card offer in my name that I am thinking of accepting-it is from American Express. No interest, would have to be paid off monthly. That would mean an automatic limit on charges I would make. DD said not good idea, but this would allow me to get credit in my name only. I have been getting card offers in mail but interest rates are outrageous. AE does offer that later on after history is built card can change into a regular card that can carry balances, but I don't really want that.

I am real close to being able to open my own bank account. (If DH asks if I 'need' funds, automatic answer is yes). Every Friday leftovers go into bank fund, I want to have more than the minimum since I will not be having automatic deposit done to it.

In other news, Sweetie is taking to canned food alot better than we thought. She is now up to 1/3 can per meal. Her dry food isn't getting eaten as fast as it was. Her energy level is up. Eventually she should be up to 1 1/2 cans per day or 3/4 can per meal. Since she was 13 lbs and should be 10 lbs that makes sense. Vet said to continue feeding her the canned pumkin since she is eating it and it isn't harmful to her-in fact it appears to keep her regular! Who knew!

I worked on DH's sweater last night. We are watching dvds of Stargate series-starting at the begining. This is another series we need to complete, but since there isn't anything good on tv it works. And allows me to get lots of knitting done! I am changing the pattern a little-lengthing the front & back yokes.

When I stopped where the pattern said, it was to start the joining round for the underarms, it was going to be to short. This is a top down sweater. So, I figured, complete the pattern repeat. This may make a 'baggier sleeve opening and top of sleeve, but we will fix that when we come to it. Rather a little big than too tight. Especially since this is an over another top sweater!
