"A Poet's Death is His Life"

A review.

Gibran knew of what he spoke. A young man with a gift of words and a spirit pure, gave a message the world was not ready to hear. He died more than ready to feel the bliss of death, since there was no bliss in life for him.

After his death, his messages are heard and monuments are built to him. Accolades are sung in his name.

How foolish we are.

But isn't this true of all artists-they are more famous in death than in life? Their works are more appreciated after they cannot complete anymore? We ponder apon their meanings and argue about them. And the artist doesn't receive the benefit of their work. IF the artist is lucky, their children do. If not, their estate does, or a museum. But not the actual artist.

And still they share the gifts. The love of the art comes out. So they share the message not for self profit but for mankind. And eventually mankind does hear it. Or see it as the case may be.
