How come it hurts more two days later?

As you can tell I didn't make it in yesterday. My knee was more swollen and I couldn't walk. Manager was NOT sympathetic,(didn't expect her to be). I am on crutch today, wearing medicated bandage and keeping it elevated as much as possible. Yesterday DH left work and bought me "frozen Pease". CVS makes this reusable pouch of plastic(?) peas that work like frozen peas do. Once they were frozen on they went to my knee for 20 minutes at a time. Swelling is down now, but pain is up. Ibrophen is my friend! And I am suppose to do crocheting tonight!

Vacation in August is out now. Not enough leave for whole week, and traveling for less won't make sense to DH, and since he left work early yesterday, he doesn't have enough time either. I didn't ask him to come home early. We should've picked up knee stuff on Monday, but neither one of us thought of it. Oh well, this time it is up to me to break the news to my daughter. It would be great if we could have my DGD come out here though! Have to talk to DH about that!!
