Stories in progress: Alone- romance turned suspense Moonshine to Moonshine - sci/fi fantasy Back Alley

Got into work later than normal so didn't get a chance to write this morning. I am here!

Lunch was very enjoyable today. DH and I eat outside-we now bring lunch from home-sandwiches and fruit. Today was strawberries. DH brought home over a pound and we have to eat them fast or they will go bad!

Anyway, there are several child care facilities in the office buildings-including ours. Sometimes the workers will bring the children to the patio where we eat. There are only two tables for us to share. When that happens, they normally keep the children in the 6person strollers and sit there gossiping. I hate seeing the kids that way. IMHO, they should be pushing those strollers around, not sitting for 45 minutes yakking. Well today, different workers brought 6 toddlers and 6 good sized balls to the area. There was just enough of a breeze to make it interesting. The two workers got a bit of a workout corraling the balls. There were no arguements over the balls, and occasionally DH & I and others had to lend a hand moving the balls back to the kids. I don't know who had more fun, the kids or the grownups in business type suits gently tossing the balls back!! The only time crying started is when it was time for the kids to go!

so a good lunch to eat and fun watching little ones enjoy themselves. There is nothing like a child playing with a ball and watching an adult run after it!
