2012-05-08 6:54 AM Tuesday And here I am again. Hey, I am on a roll! Today is unpacking some office supplies that have come in.
Last night I went to PT. Fell asleep during traction-was just relaxing and the room is so dark and peaceful. Hmmmm. Therapist says happens to people all the time. When he manipulated my neck-no pain and complete range of movement! YEAH! B & I watched movie "Lone Wolf McQuade". No more fighting movies for me. Another rough night of sleep, Even though we watched the last of "As time goes by" before retiring for the night, it wasn't enough to stop rough dreams. Tonight is dye my hair night. I am tired of my roots and I have full movement of my back. Even though I still feel the nerve pain from the shingles, I can ignore it or control it with tylenol. I did find out that some of the pain was an alergic reaction. B had used the wrong tape when he bandaged my back-the two rolls look identical. But that has cleared up, thank goodness. I hope to find my beading needles tonight. I need to put the blue and clear crystal beads on white crochet thread. I am going to make a lanyard for my badge-first chain a large circle. Then sc a bead into each stitch on one side, then into the other. I will be useing a 5 blue then 5 white pattern. I hope it will be strong enough to last awhile. This will be a pretty necklace, but still strong enough to hold the two badges we wear and the key holder I wear so that I don't lock myself out of my office. I have seen people wear beaded lanyards in the office, and the major complaints are: that they break, that they are made of wire and are too stiff, or that the cording stretches too much then breaks. I think I have solved all three problems. Crochet cotton thread doesn't stretch or break once it is in a chain stitch. The beads will protect it also-using a good quality bead. We'll see. It will be pretty anyway and can be a fashion accessory. (and maybe will sell some.) Well, that's about it for now. Talk to you later.
