2012-06-15 1:14 PM More time I didnt' have a lot of time to type this morning so my news was brief. I will be meeting with my manager next week some time. I know he's not happy about the last 3 weeks-hey I'm not happy about it either. I still have a small headache, but it is localized to over my right eye, and not a migraine type, so I am taking tylenol again-uping it to 3 tablets this time. But this pain is not migraine-hallelujah!!
The drug will help me since the others don't work the way the doc hoped-or they stopped working. I am tired of the migraines. Good news is that B went to MC by himself last night. I couldn't drag myself to get dressed to go. He was upset with me. I am glad as this allowed the MC to work with him in dealing with the upset and with me, and how to help himself. Good all the way around. Other news: plumbers are back in our apartment. We may have to move out for a couple of weeks-they may need to trace water line through the apartment. If they do need to do that, the apartment manager wants to fix everything that is off-earthquake damage from last year, damage from the AC in the dining room, paint damage etc. So they will put us up in a 'executive apartment' while the work is being done. The decision will be made sometime today. Should be interesting. Last night we almost had a stray cat. B came home from the MC and said there's a cat in the hallway. The poor thing had backed himself into a corner and was meowing fiercly. When I went up to him, no hissing or signs of aggression, so I picked him up. He let me look at him, and B even held him, A very 'handable' cat, just crying for his owner-no colar or tags, but his white paws were very clean so not from outdoors. B called the on staff person, who said someone on the floor probably lost him. So we started knocking on doors. Several people double checked to make sure their cats were inside, and finally one said, "oh, he got out!" And Cat went "MEOW". Yup, that was his mommy! I told the young woman to get him a collar so that she could be contacted next time he escapes from the apartment. He was a cuddler cat-you could tell by the way he let me hold him and he nudged into me. Sweetie smelled him on my housedress and was very interested. Also upset because there was another cat on her mommy-oh well. Maybe someday she'll have a younger brother. (fixed of course!) Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
