I was so young, but no one could tell me that then. My father made a few jokes about him not showing up at the Justice of the Peace's house. And yet he did.

It has been thirty three years today.

Now, I know that earlier this year I didn't expect to see this day still together. I really didn't.

He learned some things this year, and so have I. There are no more tantrums. (though they may start, a 'stop it' reminds him that I don't go there anymore.)

Are we perfect, no. But we are both loved, wanted and needed by each other. We talk to each other more honestly now. MC is still needed and helps us do this. Helps me hear his fears, helps him express himself and lets him hear me as well.

Here is to another 33 years-only let these go alot smoother and happier!
