Perhaps that is simply a bit of 1960s idealism that most people have outgrown; but it remains near and dear to me. 2004-01-28 6:16 PM Whoopdedoo Well I have cleared off my desk, I have started on a new novel, I am feeling fresh and ready to roar creatively. The dreaded month of January is nearly over and I have a bunch of fresh ideas in my head that deeply appeal to me.
I find myself writing some scenes for other potential books and stories. I intend to keep very busy. But most of all I'm steadily improving in spirits again as I always do once I'm staring February in the face. I got most of my shopping done today. More will probably wait until next week since it's going to get windy Friday. I had one single annoyance today. Dog had gotten onto the desk again (my fault I left the chair too close) and over turned my ash tray. Yeah, I smoke cigars and a pipe. Mostly cigars these days. He had also escaped with the pizza bones on the plate that I left sitting on the end table next to the desk like a short return. Then he dug up the covers on my bed and settled down on the pillows to eat his unlawful treasures. There's nothing like coming home tired and finding a bed full of pizza crumbs and parmesan cheese. I get aggravated when he raids my desk, but I wouldn't trade him for anything. Currently Reading: Recommended Reading: Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
