Cussedness Godwar Central Station LEVEL 20 ARCH-CURMUDGEON ALL HATE MAIL WILL BE POSTEDI am an out of the closet, bi-sexual gender queer and have long believed that the personal is political. Perhaps that is simply a bit of 1960s idealism that most people have outgrown; but it remains near and dear to me. I am the best-selling dark fantasy ebook author of the Dark Brothers of the Light series. I made my first short story sale at 23. it appeared in Amazons! which took the World Fantasy Award for best anthology in 1980February 2004: In The Darkness Hunting: Tales of Chimquar the Lionhawk (wildside press) Dark Brothers of the Light Series. 2004-02-07 1:28 PM Cracking the Whip The new version of the website, which Andreas is designing (and I encourage everyone to take a look at the new look) is already shaping up to be wonderful. He hopes to have it finished this weekend before he starts his new job and runs out of time for this stuff.
My editor posted in a newsgroup about how eagerly he's awaiting the new novel I'm working on. The one good thing about Wildside is that they want shorter novels than my agent wants to handle, so there is no conflict of interest there. Sean Wallace at Wildside asked me, when he first brought up the novels, was "can you write a novel that short?" "No," I replied. "But I can write a short story that long." He brought it up again on icq: *Cracks the Whip* followed by the line *ducks and runs* I'll have my editor trained eventually I think Then I won't need to give him the Zorro treatment by taking out my own whip, hammer of curmudgeonry and sword. gothic.net has calmed down again to a pleasurable level. The mod locked the topic and warnned the dude who was harrassing people and calling them "faggots" and other such if anyone disagreed with him. When I challenged him to compare his writing to mine, he decided to pressure me to make that a brand new story. I think my record in the industry, which includes two brand new stories in my collection In The Darkness Hunting should speak for me. AFter all I have a track record. And deadlines to make with editors. I'm cooling down and that is good because it enables me to get on with my writing. Boards and chats are the way I relax in the evening after the work is done and I really don't want the stress filtering into my working time. Currently Reading: The Knightly Art of the Longsword, Sigmund Ringeck. Recommended Reading: Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
