Well, in order to completely repair the keyboard shelf, I'll need to go out and get a set of Allen Wrenches. For the nonce I have it braced. which means that it will have to wait until the editorial check I just deposited clears, buy a set and do some serious repairs on the desk. He pulled it down a second time around one in the morning. On another note it appears that most of the writers in piggy's antho are his underage proteges, one of whom is only thirteen years old.

I find that sad because it creates unreal expectations in the very young and inexperienced. To me it is important for writers, especially those who are very young, to understand the marketing and industry standards. When you set the bar too low, a writer is not encouraged to grow. That is ultimately tragic in an increasingly competitive world.
