Cussedness Godwar Central Station LEVEL 20 ARCH-CURMUDGEON ALL HATE MAIL WILL BE POSTEDI am an out of the closet, bi-sexual gender queer and have long believed that the personal is political. Perhaps that is simply a bit of 1960s idealism that most people have outgrown; but it remains near and dear to me. I am the best-selling dark fantasy ebook author of the Dark Brothers of the Light series. I made my first short story sale at 23. it appeared in Amazons! which took the World Fantasy Award for best anthology in 1980February 2004: In The Darkness Hunting: Tales of Chimquar the Lionhawk (wildside press) Dark Brothers of the Light Series. 2005-04-15 5:27 PM Enjoying Myself Sales of my ebooks are still doing very well. I like the fact that Fictionwise requires people to have purchased the book from them before being able to post reviews, as that keeps out the riff-raff. Laurell K. Hamilton's sex drenched Merideth Gentry novel has pushed me out of first place (big sigh), however, I'm still on the dark fantasy best-seller list there in the second and third positions. Levy almost got loose in the building today, made a break for freedom as I was signing for more books that arrived. I bought four new books as research. Sex for Dummies. Dr. Ruth's writing is delightful and the biology of puberty is something I needed to understand better for some of my characters that are under age by western standards, but not for the cultures I am writing about. She notes in it how Anwar Sadat's wife was 13 when they married and he was in his 20s. Forenics for Dummies. That is a great book by D. P. Lye, MD I also purchased Lyle's Murder and Mayhem: A Doctor Answers Medical and forensics Questions for Mystery Writers. I didn't realize until the book arrived today that it was signed by the author. *big grin* In a deluge of books my Annotated Brother's Grimm arrived, full of delicious illustrations by people like Nielsen, Brooke, Cruikshank and a host of others. It's worth it for the illustrations alone, but I'll enjoy reading it. The final book was a wonderful book on weapons and their uses that a friend recommended, Weapons: An International Encyclopedia from 5000 BC to 2000 AD, very comprehensive, wonderfully illustrated.
