I was writing an entry for this blog referring to the not-quite-ending saga of my folks being taken to their new home, and this was at the end of a document which consisted of personal sketches added at whim. I hit something and not only did my insert mode change, but all the pages of my document save the paragraph on a new page vanished. Probably there is an empirical explanation how the cursor hits something on the tool bar one has barely explored, but incidents like this make me a believer in how "the mystical" stubbornly regenerates in some minds for the at least temporarily unexplained.
