2014-10-10 9:19 AM Dedicated to whimsical energy. Getting ready for my Friday morning band makes me think of music, and over morning dish cleaning I thought of someone long ago with whom I talked music and every now and then it was about The Kinks. They were said to play one terrific show for every twenty of their usual somewhat sloppy ones, or something to that effect----remind self to check out "A Certain Ratio" on YT later----and I missed a chance to see what was a well played one at Pierce College over forty years ago. Free admission awaited, no less, but I was a clueless and wheel-less short hair tied down to the home.
Knowing this blog hasn't been burning up lately and wanting to write, I thought of the pun, based on "Dedicated Follower Of Fashion", "Dedicated Follower Of Fission". Not much to build on that, but in recalling propaganda during my childhood I remember when a chunk of uranium the size of a walnut would fuel a reactor the size of an Evinrude outboard motor and power the largest ship ever. And we'd all be happy. "Dedicate Follower(s) Of Fiction"? The energy sector lacks no heat in the debate department. Will bio fuels actually end in a sustainable loop? Where is cold fusion? If an agency some of us have not heard of has "government" in its name and tells us the planet actually is cooling----well, one can also be a "Dedicated Follower Of Faction". Nothing new, but going strong. Whatever can be construed as "strong". Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
