2015-01-14 9:57 AM The ties that carry (over). For train buffs, political mavens and many others the news of breaking ground for HSR caused a few retinas to be moved page-ward. Of course, that is "High Speed Rail". Personally I will find it interesting to have a rail line, if it happens in this lifetime, through the one pass between Route 101 country and the Central Valley. Is that Maricopa Pass? I'm too lazy to look it up even though, again, the idea of an area, through which I have passed at least once, that would look---neat? cool?---with rail in it.
A friend commented the ties used in the ceremony are not at all what such a system will use. Well, I have a title to justify here and that will work. In the region of this keyboard I am reflecting on HRS---"Home Run Syndrome". Blogs are nice in general, and prolific past the point of general, and I have not really made mine the daily diary. But there is the personal standard of involving a zigzagging narrative, even more than HSR will utilize mounting the terraced terrain of the Grapevine, and, clears throat, grand narratives. I made a resolution in ending 2014 I would make more than two entries a month. Since that wasn't carried out, maybe here's what 2015 can have. So I break ground for 2015. Folly? Why certainly, I aim to cover much ground. Expeditious---optional. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
