Dark Horse
The life and times of a meditative horse trainer.

I'm a second generation born and raised Alaskan. I've very proud of that, my roots are here. While I want to see as much of the world as I can, I want to raise my children here. I'm a dedicated student of the horse, of life and I love to learn. I try to leave no stone unturned in my life. Nothing is good if taken at just face value there is always more, to people, an animal, a thought, a dream. I'm an intensity junky, I live my life with passion as if every action were my very last, and I love the colors that this passion has brought to me. It's my hope to share this small window of myself with my readers. If you surfed in please make yourself at home and stay a while, if your one of my loved one's who are here, I love you for all you have educated me in to make my life this amazing.

Happy Hallmark Day!

Live your life as if the whole world were watching… Coca Cola Winter Olympic Campaign 2006

Okay I admit it; I’m a nerd to the billionth degree. I am now quoting commercials from Coca Cola. But REALLY it made me cry, which isn’t hard, have you seen the Budweiser commercials with the Clydesdale colt? As pathetic as it is I weep from just the music. Truth be told, I’m very easily moved and inspired, hence by bit about my just barely keeping my emotional tidal wave from washing me away all the time.

But really… How would you live your life as if the whole world were watching? There are days when I DO exactly this, and there are days when I feel as if I could crawl under a rock I would. I think if I the whole world were watching I’d do the following.

1. Always smile, because my one crooked tooth adds character.
2. Be brave enough to wear red lipstick while riding my horse.
3. Walk everywhere as if the ground beneath my feet were my own personal catwalk.
4. Be more forgiving.
5. Cry just as much as I do now.
6. Wear a bag over my head when I crawl out of bed in the morning until I apply makeup.
7. Not shower naked.
8. Not say F*CK as much.
9. Meditate longer

Yeah that’s all I can think of for now. Sarcasm aside, my grandmother always used to say smile all the time because you never know who’s falling in love with it. AND happiness is contagious.

Did you know…? That a study was just released of the affects of holding hands? The act of holding your loved one’s hand can reduce stress up to 50%!!! I’m not going to get into the details of the study, if your interested in the study Google it or email me I’d be happy to supply you with a link.

Enough for today, I’m busy trying to live up to those 9 items above. Oh yeah and Happy Valentines Day, if you don’t have a loved one to hold hands with. Try loving yourself, because that’s the real message here!
