2002-08-29 11:59 PM Perspective I never got around to writing a journal entry yesterday. Huh. Stupid PMT [muttermutter]. I did write on AETW, though. Didn’t expect that, so it was a nice surprise. But everyone’s at WorldCon but meeeeee (the whining is important here, because we all know the statement isn’t true. Lazette and Jenn, two journallers I read, aren’t there either. We’re all being piteous, so there.), and I’m not going to fit in my black jeans for the Styx concerts, and only 13 people are coming to our party on Saturday, and our house is infested with ants, and as I drove through Orange this morning all I felt was pure envy over all of the Victorian houses.
But hey, let’s put things into perspective here. My hairdresser squeezed me in this morning so I now have vibrantly wonderful red hair. I have a nice house that’s getting nicer, with a pool fercryinoutloud. I have a cable modem (finally) and two snazzy computers (even if the silent treatment is still going on between them). I get to visit my bestest friend next week. I have a wonderful kind sweet gorgeous beloved Ken. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
