2002-09-30 11:59 PM Groupie End of the month already? Sheez. Although it didn’t go by quite as fast as September did.
I’m having one of those overwhelmed moments where I look at each thing I need to do and freeze because it all seems overwhelming. (Which is redundant. And repetitive.) It will pass, but it certainly isn’t helping me get anything done. Cat crashed here last night, and she and I went out to breakfast this morning. (Westminster Café. I had eggs and bacon with Hollandaise sauce in potato skins, which was quite yummy, despite the fact that they spelled it “potatoe”. It’s spelt correctly elsewhere on the menu…) Got home, and I had just enough time to shower (except for my hair, which I scraped back into a ponytail) before Ken’s mom got here to drive me to my dr’s appt. After that, we went to Ross, which reminded me why I totally hate to shop at Ross (although I did buy a belt because mine is falling apart, and a $3.99 CD called “Megarock” because it had “The Warrior” by Scandal and “Pretty in Pink” by the Pfurs, among others); then to the Westminster Mall, where I bought another bra (purple/burgundy) and she tried on a screaming purple wig (but I couldn’t convince her to buy it). Then we went to see “The Banger Sisters”, which was really good. Well, a lot of it spoke to me. There were some iffy parts, but there was at least one part where I was leaning on the seat in front of me, laughing. (And we were surrounded by old couples, one of whom commented about the snot coming out of Goldie Hawn’s nose. Which sent Jackie and I into more peals of laughter. The little old lady really did say “snot”.) I was home maybe five minutes when Ken called to say he was leaving work and would be home after he stopped by the shop to see how the car repairs are progressing. Ahh! I’ve had no time at home to accomplish anything today! And we have sewing tonight… Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
