2002-11-29 11:59 PM Homeless Waifs Happy Day After Thanksgiving!
Oops. I think I forgot to post that we’d be away for four days. Ah well. Did you miss me? We’re at Meg & Matt’s annual Homeless Waifs Party. We arrived yesterday early afternoon. I made a big Caesar salad as our contribution (and today Ken & I did loads and loads of dishes). There were eight of us, and we stuffed ourselves silly. After supper, Matt said that the “Buffy” marathon on F/X was showing the Evil Willow episode. So off we went into the bedroom. Hours and hours and episodes and episodes later… We kept saying we’d leave, but then the next ep would be a good one… Colin hung out with us, and Ken wandered in and out, and Meg came in a couple of times. It was fun, if terribly nonproductive. But that’s what holidays are all about. Today I took the leftover mashed potatoes and added some butter and the leftover parmesan I’d grated for the salad, and had that for breakfast. I was extremely happy. What else have we been doing? I’ve been reading. Folks are playing games. We hang out and talk. More salad was made. Dishes were done (a lot). Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
