2002-12-09 11:59 PM Stubborn Obviously, I haven’t been writing. This is frustrating me, because I don’t like taking chunks of time off and losing my momentum—plus, I feel like the book’s going well right now. Today it’s doubtful, although it’s on my To Do list. I have a chiro appt. followed by a dr’s appt., and then two articles to copy edit. By the time they’re done, it’ll be dinner time, and then folks will be here for sewing. But I’m going to try. Even 500 words—even less than that—is better than nothing!
Had my neck cracked and got a massage, both of which felt reeeeally good because my back and neck were all stiff from working 10 hours yesterday. Went to the dr’s and was told that my surgery has completed healed (which I thought) and with luck I’ll never have to see that dr ever again. Did a quick bit of food shopping; didn’t need to buy a lot because we’ll be gone for four days (Wed – Sun). Came home, made a bowl of popcorn (because that’s what I was craving, okay?), and then Ken arrived home for lunch. It was only after he left that I managed to sit down and start working. The good news is, I was stubborn and copy edited three manuscripts, so all are done and queries are out, and all I have to do today and tomorrow is input the queries that come back. Yay! No writing, though. I worked through the first hour of sewing night, then sewed, and then when everybody left, Ken needed the computer. But I curled up on the sofa and sipped wine and caught up on issues of Realms of Fantasy. I tend to read certain stories first, then put the magazine down, and it gets lost in the shuffle. A very pleasant end to the day. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
