2003-04-10 11:59 PM Headachey day Woke up at dawn with a headache. Took Advil, added pillows, slept again. Woke up again with a headache. Took Tylenol, ate breakfast. Took stronger Advil, had a cup of tea. Tried to nap, failed. Wandered around moaning until headache began to fade after second cup of tea, at about 3 p.m. The memory of the pain is still there, with pressure in my sinuses and behind my eyes. However, I haven’t had a chance to stop and think about it since 3. I’ve done a ton of GWW stuff, including realising to my horror that if we’re going to have an ad in Tournaments Illuminated, it has to be overnighted on Monday at the latest. (I’d like to get it mailed tomorrow, but I’m waiting on some info.) Yoiks.
I’m down to less than 20 in the In Box, but the Drafts folder is growing… No writing yet. I’ve got about 45 minutes before I leave for the Council meeting. Ken’s already gone; he found out this morning that an engineers’ meeting/dinner is tonight, so he’s going to shmooze, and will meet me at the Council meeting. He spent a good portion of the day fine-tuning his résumé, which looks very spiffy. Because he is very spiffy, and some company is going to be damn lucky to get him on board.
