Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Not overwhelmed

Well. Denise didn’t sell either of the two anthos, so we’re free to market those stories elsewhere. That’s cool. And, she did sell another antho, and our class is invited to submit. I’m not really allowed to talk about it otherwise, but I will say that yesterday’s spam could in fact be used in some way. Which would just be too funny for words.

Feeling a little overwhelmed this morning. I have a new Sage journal to work on, I’m already behind on my AETW plan, I want to get BH out this week, and I have to get the Combat Booklet finished pretty darn soon (if not by the end of the week, then definitely to the copy shop by Monday). So, I’m just trying to take it one step at a time…

Plan is working! I’ve done more than today’s goal on the Sage job, and I’ve edited all of the stuff for the Combat Booklet, which means I can start designing it tomorrow. We ran a couple of quick errands. I’ve done lots of little stuff, too. Tonight we’ll be off to Costumer’s Guild, and then we’ll probably watch something we’ve taped and do stuff in front of the TV. Now, time to work on BH.

Or not. Meg called, and by the time we were done talking, it was suppertime, and then we went to Costumer’s. I did a little work when we got back, but then watched a TV movie we’d taped (with Charisma Carpenter and Holly Marie Combs. It would have been otherwise unwatchable.) and some TV. During the watching, I finished a set of Vanguard of Honor armbands I’d been weaving, and wrote a letter.

Must…write…tomorrow!
