2003-09-16 11:59 PM Ascending, or just sending Legacy of Love: about 700 words
Everyone please think positive thoughts for Sarah & Family, who are in the path of Hurricane Isabel. <><><> Mailed four stories today; gotta love e-mail submissions. One e-mail address is already bouncing, and I’m not sure how the magazine is doing, but I’ll try again tomorrow. I’m at a loss for where to send two 3K M/F erotica stories: “At the Faire” (set at a Ren Fairs and reads as though it’s set in the past, until the end) and “Lily La Rouge” (which has a ghost). I did query one place about “Lily”. If anyone has suggestions for markets for these, please advise! For the record, I have 25 stories in submission, plus the two erotica stories in waiting. I’ve got a stack of stories to revise, though… <><><> Whoops. I really should be going to bed. But I saw a note to myself to send an old romance story out, and I opened it, and suddenly I found myself adding a bit (per the gls of the magazine where I’d like to send it). It’s a good story; the new scene merely adds some sexual tension and explains a bit more about the characters. <><><> Lots of copy editing, and critted the beginning of Christine’s latest novel (fun stuff!), and watched “Nip/Tuck” (a particularly disturbing episode), and talked to Ken. Miss him. It’s weird that in the past, it was always the company sending him away for a week that turned into a month, and now it’s his/our decision. (He still needs to get confirmation that they want him for another week, and if so, we still need to decide if he’ll come home for the weekend or work through the weekend and come home early next week.) So, there you have it. Another day gone by in my life. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
