I just took an online quiz on 80s lyrics and scored 144, “The 80s Are My Life”. Yup. A couple I’d never heard of at all, a couple I guessed on and got right, and the rest were dead easy. I made two stupid mistakes, though, which brought down my score a little. Ah well. (I get 149 if I fix my own typos.) It’s at http://www.yetanotherdot.com/asp/80s.html Go ahead. Try to beat me. I dare you. <><><> I totally overslept this morning—the grogginess was delayed until then, it seems. I had about 10 minutes to ablute, put in my contacts, dress, and go flying out the door. First I had a chiro appt. Neck still being stubborn. My new X-rays look good, though. My upper/middle back no longer has an S curve in it, and my neck, although still not curving back in the right direction, no longer curves in the wrong direction. I need to do my traction every day, though. Better twice/day. I’m really bad about that. Then I walked down the strip mall to make a dentist appt, and lo and behold, they had just had a cancellation, so I got my teeth cleaned. Which was good, except that they squirted some meds on my tender back gum (the gum was why I was particularly glad to get the immediate appt) and then told me I couldn’t eat for half an hour. Having missed breakfast, my next goal was lunch. Argh. I picked up a few things at Costco, and now have massive multiple packs of things like Ziploc bags and paper towels. By that time half an hour had gone by (closer to an hour), so I grabbed my all-time favourite bacon-Swiss chicken sandwich at CJ’s and continued on. Went to the fabric store and got sewing machine and serger needles, and thread for the cotehardie I’m beading. Went to the grocery store for a few things. Finally, finally came home. <><><> As I said, it’s been rather cold here. My home outfit of choice against the cold is very grey. Dark grey leggings. Black socks. Formerly black t-shirt with grey Celtic knotwork. Heather grey Victoria’s Secret Underware sweatshirt. At least my nails are bright pink. It’s all very comfy and cosy, though. <><><> Went to Costumer’s Guild tonight, and learned about Byzantine clothing, and had a lovely time. Came home, changed into grey outfit, did some computer work with Cat. Then we decided we were hungry, so we ate popcorn and watched a very funny “So Graham Norton”, then came back and worked more. It’s nearly 1:30 a.m. and my eyes are starting to roll into the back of my head, so I think it’s time for sleep. Although I’m taking the Palm and keyboard with me, because I have a couple things to add to that scene in AETW. <><><> No-one so far has beat my score on the 80s quiz. I am the Whackmaster! No, no, wait, that’s Ted. I am the 80s Goddess! I am the Font of Useless 80s Song Trivia! I am very tired. Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
