2004-01-27 11:59 PM Shush, brain I didn’t sleep well last night, and we didn’t want to get out of bed this morning, so we again didn’t take the car to the shop. Current plan is to take it in this evening, so it’s there.
Despite that, I’m feeling pretty good this morning. I’m excited that the library is actually happening. I have projects that aren’t overwhelming (like, move the pool supplies from the lanai room—which will become the solar or parlour once it’s cleaned out—to the pool pump room). I’ll start editing early so I get a good chunk done. That sort of thing. It’s amazing what a polite, friendly, well-placed phone call will do. I called the InBooklet people and the nice lady found my e-mail, said she’d send me a registration number, and told me that in the meantime I could download the 15-day demo. Which is what I really needed _right now_ to finish the GP. So the GP is ready for copy editing. <><><> Directions in Which My Brain Should Be Discouraged From Going: [Dayle gets some beef jerky for a snack] Beef jerky is too expensive… I should learn how to make my own. It can’t be too hard. Ken’s mom has done it. And hey, it’s period, isn’t it? So I could use it as another A&S entry… [Dayle restrains herself from looking up information online] <><><> The shelves are cut for the library, and now Ken and Dennis are working on the magazine rack.
