Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Mexico bound

I had a loverly massage before my chiro today, which loosened things up nicely and my neck cricked and cracked in almost all of the right places, as did my lower back (mid-back remains stubborn, but as I can often crack it myself now, that’s less of a concern). Signed some life insurance paperwork, and then we headed home.

I’m mostly packed for the trip, but I have a few small projects to deal with (like making sure the DVR is properly set, and cleaning cat boxes—that sort of thing). Ken’s finishing up a few things himself, including scheduling a flight to Dallas mid-month for a short but lucrative job. The bike should be fixed soon, which means we’ll be able to pick it up, pack it up, and get on our way.

A new country! (For me, anyway!)
