Mood: Headachy Read/Post Comments (0) |
2004-06-08 11:59 PM Writing truism Slow day. Tired, mildly headachey. I took a nap for about an hour, but it didn’t help. Still, getting a few things done here and there. Just not as much as I’d like, or with the enthusiasm that I’d like.
<><><> Neil Gaiman said this in his journal recently, and it really struck me as a truth about writing: “I don't think I'll actually use the scene I wrote today. But I needed to write it in order to know I wouldn't use it, if you see what I mean.” I do see. <><><> Still have a headache. Went over one ms., took a bath, ate comfort food, and watched two eps of “24”. At least one more ep tonight, I suspect. I really wish this headache would go away. I have stuff to do that requires thought. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
