2004-12-10 11:59 PM Kicking ass Ah, a good day. We had a late lunch with Morgana & Brian at a local restaurant that way decorates for the holidays. I can’t decide if I liked the Victorian village or the Nightmare Before Christmas display better. I got a huge burrito that I barely made a dent in; I ate almost the rest of it for dinner tonight, but still couldn’t finish it.
Then I proofread the Oak Leaf for Morgana before hurrying home to call Teresa. We had a lovely talk, and hashed out ideas for two erotica anthologies to which we want to submit. We each picked a story to start (one for each antho), and I’m about 750 words into mine already. Nice. I’ve also caught up on several critiques I’ve promised (one more to go, hopefully tomorrow) and come up with some good ideas for the Magic: The Gathering proposal. I have several projects I’m juggling right now, and instead of feeling stressed, I’m feeling really good. Excited. Energized. We had a Black Oak Lodge meeting last night, and although there’s a fair amount of work to be done, it’s all do-able. It’ll be a kick-ass event. Now I’m off to curl up with Ken and watch “The Librarian: Quest for the Spear”. We’re expecting much amusement, and I will get some serious needlework done as well. Oh, much goodness!
