I get to work from home today! Woohoo! The 101 northbound was pretty much stopped due to a downed utility pole. (Oddly, so was the 118—entirely different freeways, both with utility poles in the road, same morning. Weird.) We knew about it, and tried anyway, and then the four of us voted to turn around and come back because traffic just wasn’t moving. (Radio reports said that at the section where three lanes merged into two normally, it was merging into one.) I’ve got a couple of chapters to read and some stuff to copy edit for the other boss, but I hope I can be terribly efficient and have time to do some writing, too. <>-<>-<> Much to my amazement, I found a Triumph video (for “Somebody’s Out There”) on TV this morning! Very 80s, very amusing. <>-<>-<> 1:54 p.m. Hey, was that just an earthquake?! Hm, almost simultaneously, there was a 2.0 in Newport Beach and 5.3 in Yucaipa. Wouldn’t think I’d’ve felt either of those. Never a dull moment here! ----
